According to the Danish handball-website Hbold.dk the Danish right wing of the Danish champions Aalborg Håndbold, Patrick Wiesmach, joins the German Bundesliga club SC DHfK Leipzig after this season.

The 27-year-old Danish right wing of the Danish champions Aalborg Håndbold, Patrick Wiesmach, has for some time been interested in going abroad. Now Hbold.dk reports - after informations through several independent sources - that he has made an agreement with the German Bundesliga club SC DHfK Leipzig from next season.

Earlier today the Danish newspaper Fyens Stifstidende wrote that the right wing of the Danish club GOG, Mark Strandgaard, moves to Aalborg after this season (read more here). Furthermore, Wiesmach has a contract that expires after this season and a girlfriend, Mia Biltoft, who plays in SG BBM Bietigheim in Germany. Everything indicates that he is lost to Aalborg Håndbold.

Patrick Wiesmach started his handball career in North Jutland, where he played for Vodskov and Hjallerup during the youth years before he joined AaB Håndbold (today Aalborg Håndbold). In 2010, Patrick Wiesmach moved to TTH Holstebro, but in 2016 he returned to Aalborg Håndbold, with whom he last year won the Danish Championship.
