Fridén retires immediately

The 30-year-old Swedish right wing of the Swedish League club IK Sävehof, Victor Fridén, stops his career with immediate effect.

Victor Fridén reveals according to Handbollskanalen.se to the Swedish newspaper Göteborgs-Posten, that he retires with immediate effect:

"After all the years with the handball, I have noticed that the motivation has started to fall, I'm not as hungry anymore. Then it's better to let someone else play," says Victor Fridén to GP.

The Swedish right wing has played all his senior career in IK Sävehof, with whom he has participated in the Champions League several times.
