Žiga Mlakar allegedly leaves the Slovenian champions RK Celje after the season.

According to the Polish handball website Reczna.pl the Slovenian national player Žiga Mlakar leaves RK Celje to join the Polish vice-champions Wisla Plock after this season.

The 27-year-old Slovenian right back Žiga Mlakar has played almost all of his career at the Slovenian champions RK Celje, despite one season at the League rivals RK Maribor Branik in 2014/15.

Wisla Plock has at the moment two right backs in the roster. Croatian Sime Ivic and Brazilian José Toledo. Both have contracts that expire at the end of the season.

Žiga Mlakar is at the moment injured and questionable for the upcoming European Championship in Croatia in January (read more here).
