Attila Vadkerti retires

The legend of the Hungarian top club Pick Szeged, Attila Vadkerti, has decided to retire.

In 2015 after 20 years in the Hungarian top club Pick Szeged the former Hungarian national player Attila Vadkerti left the club. The 35-year-old Hungarian left wing joined the Hungarian lower rank club FKSE Algyő.

But the experienced player has now suffered a cruciate ligament rupture and has decided to retire.

Attila Vadkerti has played 108 caps and scored 138 goals for the Hungarian national team. He won the Hungarian League in 2007 and the Hungarian Cup in 2006 and 2008. Furthermore, he won the EHF Cup in 2014. In 2012 he participated in the Olympics in London, where Hungary finished 4th.
