"The new HSV" extends the contract with the German line player Niklas Weller.

The new handball club of Hamburg, Handball Sportverein Hamburg, which plays in the 3. Bundesliga, has extended the contract with the 23-year-old talented German line player Niklas Weller.

Niklas Weller, who came to HSV from TSV Ellerbek in 2015, has signed a new 2-year contract to the summer of 2019.

"It is a great feeling to know that I will also play for the club next season. We have built and achieved so much in the past months, and I am proud to continue to be a part of it," the player stated.

The former German top coach and current Vice-President of HSV, Martin Schwalb, is happy about the news: "For us, Niklas is a very valuable player and a great support for the team. We are therefore very pleased that the joint path will be continued."
