Talented right wing stays in Leipzig

The 22-year-old talented German right wing of the German Bundesliga club SC DHfK Leipzig, Peter Strosack, has extended his contract with 2 years to the summer of 2019.

The 1.82-meter-wide right wing joined the club to replace the injured Lucas Krzikalla from the German 2. Bundesliga club TSV Bayer Dormagen in January 2016, and was able to bring strong performances to the green/whites immediately. Now he has extended his contract with 2 years.

"I am very pleased that the contract has been extended, because I feel very well in Leipzig. We as players find perfect conditions at SC DHfK Leipzig and are all determined to continue to work meticulously on our goals," said the 22-year-old.

Head coach Christian Prokop said on the contract extension:

"In the past, Peter has steadily continued to develop and convinced with good performance. He is a player who fits perfectly into our team with his character qualities and who always shows full commitment during training. With Peter Strosack and Lucas Krzikalla, we will continue to focus on a young German duo with a very high identification factor for the future."

Besides Peter Strosack SC DHfK Leipzig has also extended the contracts with Lukas Binder, Maximilian JankeChristian Prokop, Miloš Putera, Jens VortmannBenjamin Meschke and Bastian RoscheckFurthermore, the ambitious German club has signed the German talent Yves Kunkel.

The head coach of the club, Christian Prokop, is still one of two possibilities to replace Dagur Sigurdsson as German national coach.
