The Swedish national player Andreas Berg leaves the German Bundesliga club Frisch Auf! Göppingen after this season.

The 24-year-old Swedish left wing Andreas Berg leaves the German Bundesliga club Frisch Auf! Göppingen after this season and returns to Sweden. He has signed a 3-year contract to the summer of 2020 with the Swedish club Alingsås HK.

Andreas Berg is the second Swedish national player who joins Alingsås HK from Frisch Auf! Göppingen from next season. Also Niclas Barud has signed a contract with the ambitious Swedes (read more here).

"I want to win championships with AHK," says 24-year-old winger in a press release from Alingsås HK.

In early March, it became clear that Niclas Barud, national player and professional in the Bundesliga team Frisch Auf Göppingen, signed a three-year contract with Alingsås HK and joins this summer.

The duo, who played the dual internationals against Germany before last weekend, has been the teammates in Germany the last two seasons and will now also play together even in AHK until at least the summer of 2020.

Before joining Frisch Auf! Göppingen in 2015 Andreas Berg played in the Swedish club Önnered HK. He has played 7 caps for Sweden. He furthermore won the U21 World Championship with Sweden in Bosnia in 2013.
