The 28-year-old Danish line player Jimmi Elmgaard leaves the Danish League club TM Tønder after 6 years after this season.

Since the strong Danish line player Jimmi Elmgaard arrived in TM Tønder 6 years ago, he has helped the club to promote from the 3rd best Danish League to the best Danish League. But after this season he leaves the club:

"All good fairy tales have an ending! And now is the time to end my adventure in Tønder. It is with sadness and tears in my eyes, that I may announce after 6 years in the red jersey - and almost 150 matches - that I for next season will no longer have TMT's logo on my chest. Promotion to the league has required much of both my employer and my family, as both the matches and trainings have become more and more frequent. Therefore, I went to our sports manager in January to talk about next season when I had a desire to tain less, as 4-5 training sessions and the matches is not compatible with family life and job. It was not possible to reach an agreement, and instead we agreed to terminate our agreement. I am pleased that the sports management agreed to terminate the agreement," states Jimmi Elmgaard.

Jimmi Elmgaard has previously played in the Danish clubs KIF Kolding, GV Ejby-Middelfart and SønderjyskE. It remains to be seen if- and where he continues his career.

As a replacement for Jimmi Elmgaard on the line player position TM Tønder has already signed the 19 years old Danish youth national player of Skjern Håndbold, Emil Bergholt.
