Vardar signs Serbian playmaker

Janja Vojvodić has signed a contract with RK Vardar.

The Macedonian champions RK Vardar has reinforced their backcourt. The 22-year-old Serbian playmaker, Janja Vojvodić, has with immediate effect signed a 2½-year contract to the summer of 2019.

Janja Vojvodić has previously played in Macedonia with the rivals of Vardar, RK Metalurg. Afterwards he joined the Polish side, Śląsk Wrocław, which he left because of bad economy for the benefit of the Spanish club, Angel Ximenez Puente Genil. At latest he played in the Qatari club Al Sadd SC.

The former Serbian youth national player started his career in RK Vrbas in Serbia.
