The "Serbian Palmarsson" to Besiktas

The 26-year-old Serbian playmaker Marko Krsmančić has signed a contract with the Turkish champions Besiktas Mogaz.

The Turkish champions and Champions League participants Besiktas Mogaz expands their squad. Due to an injury of the Serbian backcourt player Predrag Dacevic, the club has signed his compatriot, Marko Krsmančić, who also goes by the name the Serbian Palmarsson.

Marko Krsmančić comes to Turkey from the Hungarian club Grundfos Tatabanya KC, which he joined before last season after 5 years in the Austrian top club Alpla HC Hard. The Serb, who is in the periphery of the Serbian national team, played in the Bundesliga in the season of 2010/11 for the German club DHC Rheinland.

Marko Krsmančić was previously an integral part of the Serbian youth national team. He will be the fourth Serbian player in Besiktas Mogaz after Predrag Dacevic, Jozef Holpert and Mihajlo Radojkovic.
