Mariusz Jurasik is hired by KSZO Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski.

After being sacked in both Gornik Zabrze (read more here) and Pogón Szczecin (read more here) in the Polish PGNiG Superliga this season, the Polish legend Mariusz Jurasik has found a new coach job.

The 41-year-old former Polish national player strengthened the coach staff of the Polish 2nd league club KSZO Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski. Mariusz Jurasik will be creating a coach duo for the rest of the season with Tomasz Radowski. That reveals the club in a press release.

Mariusz Jurasik is a Polish handball legend. He played 207 caps and scored 704 goals from 1997 to 2012 for the Polish national team, with whom he won silver at the World Championship in Germany in 2007 and bronze at the World Championship in Croatia in 2009. In 2007 he was named the best right wing of the World Championship in Germany. He is the player with 8th most goals and 8th most appearances of the Polish national team in the history.
