The German 2. Bundesliga club HG Saarlouis has released the head coach Jörg Bohrmann.

Press release from HG Saarlouis:

The HG Saarlouis has released the head coach of the 2. Bundesliga team Jörg Bohrmann from his duties after another high away defeat against Tusem Essen.

Philipp Kessler (the picture), the former assistant coach of the team, will take over the duties as head coach with immediate effect.

HG Manager Richard Jungmann: "The current sporting situation and the lack of development of the team have led us to take this step. We are firmly convinced that with Philipp Kessler, we have been able to get a coach for the professional team, who is developing the team further in order to secure early survival in the league. Philipp Kessler has already done a great job in Saarlouis as a player and assistant coach. He deserves the chance to reach the sporting goals with our professional team."

HG Saarlouis is at the moment 16th in the 2. Bundesliga.
