Malmagro joins ambitious Spaniards

The former Spanish national player Cristian Malmagro joins the ambitious Spanish club Club Handbol Marratxí de Mallorca.

The Spanish club located in Mallorca, Handbol Marratxi, continues to reinforce the squad. After great handball personalities as Rolando Urios (head coach), Magnus Jernemyr and Robert Arrhenius has joined the project, Club Handbol Marratxí de Mallorca has also been successful in tempting another experienced handball personality.

The top club of the Spanish 2ª Nacional Championship has made a deal with the 36-year-old former Spanish national player Cristian Malmagro with immediate effect for the rest of the season.

Malmagro has had a long career in international handball. He began his career in BM Granollers and has also played in clubs as Portland San Antonio, AG København, Montpellier HB, Al Ain Abu Dhabi, HCM Minaur Baia Mare and CB Ciudad de Logroño. Since 2015 he has played in Saudi Arabia. He has previously been the top scorer of the Spanish league and been a part of the Spanish national team.

The goal of Club Handbol Marratxí de Mallorca is to become part of the best Spanish league, Liga Asobal, within a number of years.
