The biggest name of the Icelandic national team, Aron Palmarsson, is injured and doubtful for the World Championship in France, beginning in a week.

The head coach of the Icelandic national team, Geir Sveinsson, has selected the eighteen players, who go with the Icelandic national team for the training tournament in Denmark, which begins on Thursday and concludes on Sunday.

After perpetuated consultation with the medical team coach Aron Pálmarsson did not go to Denmark because of an injury. Which injury he has suffered is still unclear.

He will be continuing treatment in Iceland over the weekend, and then it will be decided whether he can take part in the World Championship in France.
