The Norwegian left back of Elverum HH, Erik Thorsteinsen Toft, talks with the Danish club Mors-Thy Håndbold.

The 24-year-old Norwegian left back of the Norwegian champions Elverum HH, Erik Thorsteinsen Toft, has a contract that expires after this season and is starting to get a grip on the future.

The talented left back, who has shown his potential in the Champions League this season, talks with the Danish League club Mors-Thy Håndbold. That confirm both parties to the Norwegian newspaper, Østlendingen.

The Sports Manager of Mors-Thy Håndbold, Henrik Hedegaard, states the following to Østlendingen:

"I can confirm that we are in conversations with Erik Thorsteinsen Toft, but I will not comment on the content. As a club we fit well for a player as Erik Toft. We have a profile, which suit for young players who wish to be here for 2 to 4 years and take a step further. I would say, Erik Toft has a DNA, which match us well."

Erik Thorsteinsen Toft confirms to Østlendingen, that he has a contract extension offer from Elverum HH, which he evaluates, but that he also is tempted by a Danish adventure.

Mors-Thy Håndbold, who is placed 7th in the Danish League, gets from next season a new head coach, Søren Hansen (read more here).
