The 18-year-old right handed Norwegian back court player, Fabian Sandven, extends his contract with the Norwegian League club Bækkelaget SK with two years to the summer of 2019.

18-year-old Fabian Sandven has already this season demonstrated great qualities in the Norwegian League, and he is happy for his new contract:

"It was important for me to play in Bækkelaget SK the next two seasons, since I have had good development in the team. I sign this contract because I think Proppen (Jan "Proppen" Karlssn, the head coach of Bækkelaget SK, ed.) has a plan for my development. I trust my coach, and it is important when choosing club. Several have gone abroad through Bækkelaget, as I want," the player states to the website of Bækkelaget SK.

The head coach of Bækkelaget SK, Jan "Proppen" Karlsson, is pleased with Sandven's decision:

"We are very pleased that one of the most talented back players in Norwegian handball has chosen to extend with us. We hope and believe that he can develop even more in the coming seasons."

Bækkelaget SK is at the moment placed 2nd in the Norwegian League.
