The Finnish head coach of TTH Holstebro, Patrick Westerholm, has extended his contract to the summer of 2020.

The vice champions of Denmark, TTH Holstebro, has made a long-term agreement with their current Finnish head coach Patrick Westerholm to the summer of 2020. The contract of the former Finnish national player expired in the summer of 2018, but is already now extended.

"I'm really enjoying TTH. We have some excellent frames that you do not see other places, and a great arena with some awesome fans," says Westerholm, who was named the Best Coach of the Danish League both in 2015 and 2016, in a press release of TTH.

TTH director John Mikkelsen calls Patrick Westerholm and TTH Holstebro for a perfect match: "We stand with a great coach who, in addition to having great skills in the sports field, also shares the values we have in TTH. So I'm so happy to extend with a coach we consider to be one of the best in the country on."

42-year-old Patrick Westerholm came to TTH Holstebro from the League rivals HC Midtjylland in 2015. He has also been the head coach of the women team of SønderjyskE and assistant coach of the women team Team Esbjerg. As an active he played among other for the Danish clubs KIF Kolding and Skjern Håndbold.
