Dzankovic retires

After the last season with the Danish club Århus Håndbold Elijan Dzankovic has chosen to retire.

The Danish player with Bosnian origin came to Denmark in 1993 because of the war in the Balkans. The 33-year-old left handed player started his career in Eskilstrup HK, and he has since represented Danish clubs as FC København, Bjerringbro-Silkeborg, Mors-Thy Håndbold, Viborg HK and Århus Håndbold.

Dzankovic has played 22 caps and 24 goals for the Danish youth national team.
